Can Christian McCaffery Join Terrell Davis as a Super Bowl MVP Running Back?

Will Christian McCaffery be Super Bowl MVP

49ers running back, Christian McCaffery has the opportunity to accomplish a feat that’s been untouched since ’98. That’s right, a running back hasn’t snagged the Super Bowl MVP crown since Terrell Davis‘ legendary performance 26 years ago. McCaffery has the ability but it’s not going to be a walk in the park.

Facing off against the Chiefs’ suffocating defense, McCaffery will need everything in his tool bag. And let’s not forget, he’s up against Super Bowl MVP himself, Patrick Mahomes, a QB who’s no stranger to the spotlight.

For a little flashback, Terrell Davis tore up the field in ’98, racking up an impressive 157 yards and punching in three touchdowns, a performance that etched his name in NFL history. If McCaffery’s going to join that elite club, he’s gotta bring his A-game.
