“It just wasn’t my style of play,” Sanders asserted. “I like definite things, I like to be the one everything falls on at the end of the day. It’s too many variables.” This preference for a more structured approach underlines Sanders’ philosophy on the field.
Looking ahead, Sanders is visibly excited about the prospect of working under the guidance of Pat Shurmur. According to Sanders, Shurmur is an offensive coordinator who truly grasps how he perceives the game. This alignment in understanding and approach could be a game-changer for Colorado’s offense.
