Ohio State new running back duo Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson

Ohio State University’s football team is poised to have one of the best rushing attacks in all of college football. The recent addition of Ole Miss transfer Quinshon Judkins, paired with the already established Buckeye star TreVeyon Henderson, is a combination that’s likely to keep defensive coordinators up at night.

Judkins, a standout talent who clinched the SEC Freshman of the Year and the Conerly Trophy, along with two All-SEC first team nods, brings a track record of success to Columbus. Complementing him, Henderson, with his All-Big 10 distinctions, infuses a dynamic spark into the Buckeyes’ offense. Together, their careers boast a remarkable sum of over 6,300 yards from scrimmage and an impressive 71 touchdowns.

This duo’s potential is further amplified with the hiring of former UCLA head coach Chip Kelly as the offensive coordinator. The last time Kelly held the position of OC was Oregon, and in that season running backs Jeremiah Johnson and LeGarrette Blount both rushed for over 1,000-yards in the same season.

As Ohio State transitions to a new quarterback, whether it’s the promising freshman Air Noland or ex-Kansas State QB Will Howard, the pressure is on. However, with Judkins and Henderson in the backfield and Kelly’s strategic mind, the Buckeyes have all the ingredients for an offensive powerhouse that could dominate college football this season.
