Grambling State QB Myles Crawley warming up

Myles Crawley Leads Grambling State to Victory with 304 Yards and 4 Touchdowns

Grambling, LA – After a tough 40-10 loss to the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, Grambling State needed a spark, and senior quarterback Myles Crawleydelivered. In a much-needed bounce-back game, Crawley showcased why he’s a pivotal piece for the G-Men this season.

Crawley completed 16 of 26 passes, lighting up Tuskegee’s defense for 304 yards and four touchdowns. His remarkable performance not only powered Grambling State’s offense but also earned him SWAC Offensive Player of the Weekhonors.

However, while Crawley’s heroics stood out, Grambling’s run game struggled, averaging just 2.5 yards per carry on 25 attempts. This lack of a ground attack is a red flag, especially with SWAC play looming. If the G-Men can’t establish the run, the road ahead could be challenging.

One bright spot outside of Crawley was sophomore wide receiver Javon Robinson. Despite his 5’6” frame, Robinson proved he could be Grambling State’s next big playmaker, hauling in four catches for 151 yards and a touchdown.

As the season moves forward, the success of Grambling State may rest on Myles Crawley’s shoulders. With a shaky run game, his connection with dynamic receivers like Robinson will be critical if the G-Men hope to contend in the SWAC. Grambling State football fans should keep an eye on Crawley’s continued impact—he just might be the key to turning their program around.
