Daniel Richardson Leads FAMU to 22-18 Victory Over South Carolina State
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – In his first two games as a Rattler, quarterback Daniel Richardson has been even better than advertised. Through those two matchups, Richardson has completed 45 of 68 passes for six touchdowns with zero interceptions. More importantly, his first two starts have both resulted in victories for Florida A&M.
Sure, some may argue that the refs played a role in the second win against South Carolina State, but that’s football. As the old saying goes, “Don’t want the refs deciding the game? Don’t make it close.” Despite the controversy, Richardson and the Rattlers emerged victorious, securing a 22-18 win over the Bulldogs.
With two wins under his belt, Richardson now faces his toughest challenge yet. Next week, he’ll lead the Rattlers into Hard Rock Stadium to take on Cam Ward and the Miami Hurricanes, fresh off their 41-17 demolition of the Florida Gators. The spotlight will be on Richardson as he looks to continue his impressive start and prove he can perform on one of college football’s biggest stages.
