3-Star RB Roderick McCrary Signs with Grambling State

Roderick McCrary Grambling State Signee

National Signing Day saw Roderick McCrary, the standout 3-Star athlete from Creekside Hs, sign with Grambling State University. In high school, McCrary was a force on both sides of the ball. Offensively, as a running back, he notched an impressive 2,000 yards and 13 touchdowns in his senior year, ending his high school career with 3,452 yards and 30 touchdowns. Defensively, he’s just as accomplished, accumulating 307 tackles, 15 for loss, 2 sacks, and 3 interceptions in his career.

McCrary’s arrival at Grambling State is timely. The Tigers have seen significant changes so far this offseason, including the departures of Coach Hue Jackson, and running backs Chance Williams, and Floyd Chalk IV. This dual-threat athlete isn’t just a new recruit; he’s a potential game-changer for a position in flux.

As the Tigers prepare for the upcoming season, all eyes are on McCrary, with high expectations for him to be a contributor in his freshman season at Grambling State University.
